Services include pre-engineering (plan and profile) surveys, project management for legal surveys, horizontal and vertical control surveys, specialized industrial as-builts, GPS (Global Positioning Surveys), watercourse depth surveys, quantity surveys, digital terrain modeling, pre-site construction layout, deformation surveys, drainage surveys, quality assurance and accident surveys, etc.
MIG provides computer-generated topographic mapping for all types of government, private and industrial clients. MIG provides base mapping for GIS (Geographic Information Systems) projects. We are also private sector partners with the Ontario Government on the current POLARIS mapping project as joint owners of UTM (Universal Terrain Mapping) Inc.
AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY
MIG supplies various government, private and major industrial clients with project specific aerial photography. Photography can be to any scale in black and white or colour and is used for many applications including site assessments, planning, record keeping and presentation. Recent projects include digitized aerial mapping as base plans for infrastructure planning and design.
