MIG Engineering (2011) Ltd. (MIG) is a diverse, consulting engineering firm that has been providing engineering services since 1959. MIG provides engineering designs and technical solutions for industrial, municipal, commercial and private clients throughout Sarnia-Lambton and Southwestern Ontario. MIG supports client’s projects with our in-depth experience and strategic partnerships we have developed over the years.

MIG’s original history dates back to 1910 with C.E. Jones who was an engineer and surveyor. He was eventually joined by James Clarence (J.C.) Monteith who was an engineer and surveyor also, and they entered into a partnership in 1928. MIG was officially formed in 1959 by James Andrew (Jim) Monteith (J.C. Monteith’s son) and Gary Ingram who founded Monteith-Ingram Engineering. In 1985, Monteith Ingram Graham Limited was established with the addition of Bill Graham who was President from 1985 to 2007. Marty Raaymakers took over for Bill Graham as President in 2007 after starting at MIG in 1985. MIG continued its growth in 2015 with a merger with BKL Engineering Ltd., which was led by principals Michael Bosher and Philip Keightley. Current President, Devin Johnson, has been in the role since December 2018.
